Friends of the Library

Have you ever heard someone talking about the Friends of the Library and wondered who or what this group is? Well, quite simply, the Friends of Howe Memorial Library are a group of people who love the library, and want to help support it and protect it. They volunteer there time to help raise monies to help Library programming. The Friends hold their monthly business meetings at 6:00 at the Library on the first Monday of each month. These meetings are open to the public. If you want to learn more about the Friends, please feel free to join us. Our Friends group is looking for volunteers.
  • Where Our Money Comes From

    The monies needed to keep the library in operation have come from a Gratiot County Mileage, State Aid, Penal Fines, Memorials and donations.
